Google has had some stunning logos over the years, but this one is a showstopper.

Long ago, the websites lived together in harmony…
Then everything changed when Windows Vista attacked!
Only Google, Master of All Search Engines could stop it.
But when the internet needed it most, Google vanished.
Years passed, and a new Search Engine was discovered, a Search Engine named Bing.
And Bing couldn’t search for shit. Everyone died.
This is officially one of my favorite posts.
FUN FACT TIME.
This was animated by a man named Ryan Woodward, a Hollywood animator who worked at Brigham Young University as an animation teacher at the time this was made. He had just recently finished “Thought of You” a heart breaking animation about romance done through dance, when google approached him about making a logo for a famous dance company who just happened to be touring at the university at the time.
Woodward is the only known animator who animates fully through gestures when he wishes to. His forte is special effects animation.
Gotta get Ryan on my Tumblr again. He is one of my favorite animators. Sooooo proud to know him personally.
